We're looking for an experienced People Services Generalist to join our People Services team. Reporting to the Manager of People Services, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee records management, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Handling inquiries from employees related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension, and other statutory benefits in compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to address employee relations matters, provide insights, and support HR initiatives
- Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure a comfortable and productive work environment for employees.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience working in human resources or HR Operations
- An understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations
- Proficiency in managing several HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
- Fluency in Japanese and English
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite; experience with payroll systems
- A deep understanding of Japanese workplace culture and practices, including hierarchies, communication styles, and social norms, including the ability to convey information clearly and effectively, and to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with HR Business Partners, Facilities teams, and other departments to achieve common goals.
