We're looking for an experienced People Services Generalist to join our People Services team. Reporting to the Manager of People Services, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee records management, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Handling inquiries from employees related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension, and other statutory benefits in compliance with local laws.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to address employee relations matters, provide insights, and support HR initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure a comfortable and productive work environment for employees.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience working in human resources or HR Operations
  • A understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in managing several HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite; experience with payroll systems
  • The ability to convey information clearly and effectively, and to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • A deep understanding of Japanese workplace culture and practices, including hierarchies, communication styles, and social norms.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with HR Business Partners, Facilities teams, and other departments to achieve common goals.
