The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining IT Network infrastructure to ensure it operates efficiently, securely, and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure, networking, and security technologies with a strong attention to detail. Collaborate closely with IT Security, Business Applications, HelpDesk and Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure, security measures, cloud resources and end-user support, aligning technology solutions with organizational objectives. You will be reporting to Manager, IT Network Operations. You will be responsible for:
- Design, lead and execute IT projects, such as new office network builds, network upgrades, migrations ensuring the seamless integration of network infrastructure, adhering to best practices for performance and security.
- Proactively monitor network performance, address bottlenecks, and implement improvements for optimal efficiency and reliability, while managing and maintaining the Aruba Wi-Fi infrastructure across all corporate offices.
- Prioritize and diligently address tickets assigned to the IT Network queue, striving to resolve them within established Service Level Agreements(SLAs) to ensure timely and effective support.
- Deploy and manage Zscaler security products, including Branch Connectors, App Connectors, and other security components, and administer DNS infrastructure, including the creation and management of DNS records and zones.
- Generate and manage digital certificates for external applications. Collaborate on Zero Trust Architecture projects to enhance network security and access control.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 7+ years in Infrastructure, Network Engineering/Operations and experience in creating security policies and implementing network segmentation.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and architectures, with a focus on LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure and proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
- Strong Routing & Switching configuration experience (Arista/Juniper/Cisco); with hand-on experience configuring OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Experience in creating internal and external DNS records and managing DNS zones, renew and managing certificates for public domains
What We're Looking for (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Linux operating systems and the functions they perform.
- Zscaler ZIA/ZPA certification and CCNP/JNCIP certified is a plus
- Network automation experience is a plus with familiarity in tools like Python or Ansible to streamline network task.
