If you thrive in an environment that is fast-paced and collaborative, and you are passionate about building and innovating for the greater good, come make your next move with Zscaler.
We built the Zscaler architecture from the ground up as a platform that could extend to new features and services. Our Product Management team takes hold of this massive opportunity to deliver our customers a growing portfolio of never-before-seen capabilities in threat prevention, visibility, scalability, and business enablement. Our product managers are champions of innovation with a shared vision for Zscaler and the limitless possibilities of cloud security. Join us to make your mark on the planning and product roadmap at the forefront of the world’s cloud security leader.
We are looking for a Principal Product Specialist to join our team and have an impact on sales for our Browser Isolation product. You will become the 'go to' person for sales engineers and account reps. You will also gather requirements from customers and directly work with the product managers to influence the product roadmap. You will help us meet the requirements of our growing customer base and be game changers in the security space. You will report to the VP, Product Management. This is an individual contributor role.
- You are the "go to" resource for customer interactions that exceed standard Systems Engineering support requirements (we always expect a baseline expertise in all areas from our SEs, but expand them with specialists in the advanced or new technology areas)
- Provide design consultation and best practice guidance for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the 'pre-sales' process for strategic opportunities. Take ownership of advanced 'proof of concept' testing in strategic accounts either at the customer site or Zscaler lab facilities
- Present to customers as SME at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO. Lead customer demonstrations (with our SE's) that showcase our unique value. Discuss, with credibility, offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical fields
- 8 years of experience as Sales Engineer, Consulting Engineer, SE specialists or Solution Architect
- Experience delivering products as cloud-based services
- Must have a working knowledge and hands-on experience in Tier-1 SaaS applications, licensing and entitlement, and analytics products
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience selling enterprise browsers or VDI technology.
- Leadership, promote, passion and sell ideas and lead without authority.
