The Transformation Advisor, M&A, Divestiture and Private Equity role reports to the Head of M&A, Divestitures, and Private Equity. This practice develops and syndicates a disruptive business solution that uses Zscaler's comprehensive Zero Trust Exchange cloud platform to accelerate a client's M&A and Divestiture journey.

This visible leadership role will require an understanding of M&A/Divestiture transactions and digital technologies and how they are applied across industries. Additionally, you will partner with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to deliver transformative solutions for our clients while also driving revenue for Zscaler.

This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States. We prefer the location to be west coast at this time.

What you will do:

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in digital technology and M&A/Divestiture transactions. You will:

  • Experience managing and delivering on sales targets and customer success
  • Deep experience working with executive leaders in IT/Cyber/Corporate Development organizations and/ or private equity firms
  • Passionate about customer success
  • Familiarity with the advisory firms and global systems integrator operating models
  • Ample expertise leading Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud migrations and Cybersecurity engagements

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate revenue growth with existing clients and prospects, with a focus on M&A/Divestitures driven sales opportunities
  • Build strong pipeline of opportunities with sales and advisory partners - drive towards deal closure and customer success
  • Develop pre/post sales content, artifacts and thought leadership
  • Build, lead and develop client relationships within the assigned sector and/ or region
  • Own and deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Work closely to cultivate key Big 5 and strategic advisory relationships (M&A/D, Private Equity, Technology, Security), to showcase Zscaler's differentiation – requires confidence when leading business, operational and technical presentations and discussions
  • Maintain close contact with clients during their M&A/Divestiture journey, offering ideas and options for expanding the Zscaler's value proposition
  • Build upon the go-to-market strategy for the M&A, Divestiture and Private Equity practice, including thought leadership, public evangelism, content creation, customer collaboration, engagement delivery and social media syndication

Qualifications:

  • Ample experience leading M&A/Divestiture pursuits and implementations, while working for a recognized Advisory firm or Global Systems integrator (7+ years)
  • Prior experience in a customer facing role as management/technology consultant with revenue generating responsibilities
  • Strong business, financial and technical aptitude when it comes to Digital Transformation, M&A, Divestitures and Private Equity
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex sales pursuits and implementation programs leveraging a large Cloud SaaS platform
  • Strong understanding of Advisory firms and Global SI's, with an ability to navigate them, identify key stakeholders and influence them
  • Demonstrated ability to earn client confidence, while also comfortable leading technical implementation planning directly with Enterprise clients and/or partner with Advisory firms or GSI's
  • Extremely well versed at developing and managing executive-level relationships across an Enterprise C-Suite or IT/Cybersecurity organization
  • Past experience as a technology architect, solutions consultant and/or cyber security engineer is expected
  • Excellent executive presence and communications - both writing and speaking, follow-up skills and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity, sense of urgency and client empathy to assist customers, during their M&A/Divestiture journey

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$212,500$250,000 USD
