JOB PURPOSE

As lead Digital Advertising Consultant at DEPT® you drive the direction for our media advertising team (15+ FTE) and grow it as a business, together with our Head of Media and Media Director. You challenge the team members and support them by facilitating an environment where all team members can get the best out of themselves in terms of their professional career and growth as well as deliverables for the clients.

Additionally, you work on campaign strategies and will be responsible from end to end for the delivery of those strategies. Together with our Media Innovation Lead you stimulate innovation and adhere to a test and learn mentality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting ambitious targets for the team, devising a plan to achieve those targets and making sure we efficiently achieve the client's objectives;
  • Overall commercial responsibility for the team’s growth
  • Actively lead and develop our ways of working within (digital) media strategy and planning; 
  • Collaborating with the other international offices making sure we are aligned with other counterparts of DEPT® and can offer the best services possible;
  • Create the smartest and most efficient campaign strategies for our biggest clients, and take everything we do regarding digital advertising to the next level.
  • Constantly looking for the latest opportunities that add value for the customer and be critical of the work we deliver;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Not only have at least 8 years of experience with Social Advertising, SEA, Programmatic (display, video, OOH), Affiliate and/or Influencer marketing, and with consulting cross-channel (preferably at a digital agency);
  • Have experience with, and gain a lot of energy from, guiding other people;
  • Have experience with, and willingness to engage in commercial and pitch activity - both making proposals and presenting for clients.
  • Can go from an abstract client question to a specific campaign strategy to deliver the best media strategy;
  • Like to tackle challenges and come up with the best results to the most complex problems;
  • Can communicate in English fluently (spoken and written)
