ABOUT YOU

As an Associate, Programmatic, your primary function will be to provide vital production support for your account team. Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to running and formatting performance reports, implementing account tasks and optimizations, building and uploading campaigns, and participating in and taking notes during internal syncs, client meetings, and presentations. 

Associates, Programmatic will become responsible for 2-3 accounts and will learn DEPT®’s best practices for Programmatic Buying while gaining the foundational skills necessary to progress into more advanced roles that will expand on the breadth and depth of knowledge.

PROFICIENCY EXPECTATIONS

We expect Associates to develop a solid foundation of paid search analytical and technical expertise and be proficient in the following:

Proficiency in Excel/Sheets:

Demonstrate proficiency in using essential spreadsheet functions and formulas including, but not limited to:

  • sorting
  • filters
  • vlookup
  • concatenate
  • pivot tables
  • text to columns
  • conditional formatting

Demonstrate an understanding of how to take advantage of these functions and formulas when performing tasks (ex: ad customization uses concatenation and length formulas) with limited oversight needed. Accuracy is critical, and Associates will need to QA their work to ensure accurate data is being relayed to the rest of the team and clients.

Proficiency in Programmatic:

Ability to:

  • Pull reports at various levels along with the desired columns/metrics and understand the data/results.
  • Leverage The Trade Desk, DV360 or another DSP to pull and schedule reports for analysis; identifying trends and developing client reporting summaries  
  • Update, monitor, and communicate daily budget pacing and high level performance, including flagging variations or anomalies. Leverages Qontrol (DEPT®’s proprietary automated reporting suite) to create efficiencies and set up live alerts. 
  • Organize large volumes of data for insights and strategic storytelling in Excel and/or Google Sheets. Comfort with functions and formulas include but are not limited to; sorting, filters, vlookup, concatenate, pivot tables, text to columns, and conditional formatting.
  • Understand relevant media metrics, how to calculate them, and articulate their relationship to each other. Possess a high level understanding of the different optimization levers to pull to surpass benchmark KPI’

GROWTH EXPECTATIONS

Over time in the role, we expect Associates to be responsible for learning and mastering the areas below:

  • Develop suggestions on activation strategy around campaign builds, overall themes, hierarchy, audiences, parameters, and ads
  • Create and edit campaigns and audiences in DSPs with oversight and mentorship
  • Implement scheduled and ad hoc tasks delegated by direct manager and/or colleagues
  • Follow mandatory QA process to completion
  • Grow a thorough understanding of programmatic, constantly embodying a “forever student” mentality. Participate in programmatic trainings by asking questions, contributing ideas, and leaning into relationship with agency partners

QUALIFICATIONS   

  • 0 - 6 months of programmatic marketing experience
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize to deliver multiple tasks on time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • You are an energetic and creative marketing enthusiast; eager to roll up your sleeves and be hands on, learn, and grow in the marketing space
  • You are entrepreneurial spirited and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • A desire to stay current with the latest marketing trends

TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

  • You will have to communicate with your team members abroad, therefore fluency in English and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must for this role
  • This opening requires you to be open to work approx twice (2) a week from one of our offices located in Villa Crespo
