JOB PURPOSE
Come join our innovative Creative Automation team at DEPT®. In this role, you’ll blend design with technology, taking the lead on large-scale production of digital marketing materials (paid social media & display). You’ll manage the technical aspects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. A key part of your role will involve working with complex spreadsheets that power our automation processes.
Creative Automation is a niche and evolving field. If you’re excited by the overlap of design and technology, enjoy streamlining workflows, and have a knack for problem-solving within data sets, this could be the perfect fit for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Creative Automation projects through its phases, ensuring alignment with automation potential during creative stages and overseeing asset templatisation, production, QC (quality control), and delivery in technical phases.
- Create, manage, and debug data feeds using Google Sheets formulas and custom formulas. While prior experience with data feeds isn’t required, having proficiency in Google Sheets is.
- Oversee virtual asset rendering via AWS and identify and resolve any rendering-related issues.
- For smaller campaigns, apply a keen eye for detail in reviewing assets, ensuring design adherence, documenting bugs, and managing fixes. For larger campaigns, brief and manage external QC agencies.
- Ensure accurate and timely task delivery from the tech team across multiple projects, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Assist project managers in developing, verifying, and monitoring project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation across projects.
- Support account managers in liaising with clients.
- Lead the requirements gathering process for data feeds and briefing docs, acting as a consultant to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with product owners and developers to flag and debug issues on our proprietary Creative Automation tool, request features to improve the tool, and test new features.
