This position sits in our Zurich-based Experience & Engineering business unit. We deliver a large range of services: from strategy and a performance-driven full-funnel approach to campaigning, e-commerce, data & analytics and content.  We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and engaging digital experiences. 

JOB PURPOSE

For our office in Zurich we are looking for a Team Lead for our Project Management team, who is a valuable sparring partner, authentic leader and competent project manager at the same time. Your moments of success are our inspiration!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for a team of project managers supporting our customers in maintenance of their websites and online shops as well as bigger relaunch projects;
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the team: Professional development of team members, training of junior & prof team members, identify potential and manage the team by setting clear objectives, managing performance and effectively coaching team members by providing clear feedback and guidance;
  • Staff planning and development - considering the individual workload and knowledge level;
  • Independently plan, coordinate and execute/lead complex e-commerce projects and experience platforms, always keeping an eye on meeting milestones;
  • Deep understanding of customers' business, their requirements and expectations. Content familiarization with specific topics and challenges;
  • Stakeholder communication (steering committees, management meetings, internal reconciliations, reporting);
  • Conducting initial meetings with potential new customers, including project-specific proposal preparation and project controlling;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in leading a team or individuals, ideally in a company with >50 employees;
  • Willingness to take responsibility as a team lead, actively accompany your team and projects and support as an escalation level in customer projects;
  • Someone who works independently, autonomously, in a structured and  organized manner, characterized by a high sense of quality and a great sense of responsibility;
  • Solid experience in project management in agile and classic waterfall projects and / or consulting of customers in a corporate environment and/or online or e-commerce projects
  • Someone who is strong in the development / optimisation of project and maintenance processes (agile and waterfall);
  • Broad expertise in e-commerce topics and feel at home in the digital world and have a high affinity for new technology trends;
  • Working proficiency in both German and English (C1);
  • Be directly available to start working in Switzerland.
