JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a Senior Spryker Backend Developer (m/f/div), who will develop sophisticated and individual B2C/B2B e-commerce projects on our Spryker Commerce OS stack. You will work in agile (Scrum, Kanban), interdisciplinary and international project teams with a high level of personal responsibility and maintain constant exchange and joint development with your team colleagues. Your customers include nationally and internationally known brands such as Jungheinrich, Tom Tailor, Paul Hewitt, Dorothee Schumacher and many others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sophisticated individual e-commerce projects based on Spryker Commerce OS;
  • Exchange with your colleagues best practices continuously, standards and technical innovations;
  • Support and guide our strategists, project managers, product owners and scrum masters in technical matters;
  • Become acquainted with new technologies and use them within the context of our projects (and beyond);
  • If suitability is demonstrated, you will be given the opportunity to take the technical lead in projects. 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent knowledge of PHP in particular and web development in general and are familiar with all de facto standard tools and components in this environment;
  • Expert knowledge in Spryker Commerce OS;
  • Deep understanding of OOP and SOLID principles;
  • Broad knowledge of design and cloud patterns;
  • At all times, you attach great importance to the performance, scalability and maintainability of the applications;
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art frameworks such as Symfony;
  • Experience in the e-commerce environment and with the integrations of third-party systems that are common here (PIM, CMS, PSP, OMS, ERP etc.);
  • Experience in covering at least critical implementations through suitable tests (unit/integration/system tests);
  • Have already worked in agile teams, e.g. using Scrum or Kanban;
  • Know and appreciate working on merge requests/code reviews for quality assurance
  • Be directly available to start working in Germany;
  • Have working proficiency of English.
