JOB PURPOSE

We are searching for an experienced, highly skilled and self driven Paid Social Principal (div/f/m) to join our paid social team within the DACH region. This role is pivotal in designing our paid social strategy across DACH and EMEA, playing a lead role in key projects, expanding our social services, and refining our service portfolio. This person will also play a crucial role in enhancing our visibility within the market. We are looking for an individual who is characterized by a high degree of openness and empathy.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the strategic development, setup, and optimization of complex paid social campaigns across various social media platforms;

- Collaborate closely with the Paid Social Leadership to ensure alignment with the overall vision and contribute to the strategic direction;

- Work on new business projects and pitches and convince new and potential clients with your appearance, specialist knowledge and expertise;

- Build and manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally;

- Guide the team in complex matters and issues f.e. in analyzing campaign data, generating insights, and helping them to provide clear and long term recommendations to clients to drive performance and satisfaction;

- Set new standards for the team in processes for optimizing performance metrics to ensure alignment with goals, KPIs, and client satisfaction;

- Allocate and manage large budgets for paid social campaigns to achieve optimal results, including the preparation of forecasts and media plans;

- Identify new approaches and methods to enhance ad targeting effectiveness;

- Be a driving force for innovation and developments across paid social;

- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling visuals or videos that align with campaign objectives;

- Design and implement testing roadmaps and paid social strategies to drive continuous improvement;

- Implement and configure conversion tracking mechanisms, such as pixels or tags, to accurately measure campaign success;

- Implement and manage shop feeds with the help of tools (f.e. Productsup);

- Build A/B testing roadmaps, flighting scenarios, social user journeys and other long term strategies for clients;

- Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A strong background in paid social, with 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment;

- A proven track record of leading complex clients with diverse portfolios and large budgets to success;

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies and results clearly and effectively;

- A growth mindset combined with a hands-on mentality, eager to learn and take on new challenges;

- The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without losing sight of the big picture;

- A deep understanding of data analysis and performance metrics, with the ability to make data-driven decisions using Excel, Pivot, and platform data;

- Proficiency in implementing complex paid social strategies aligned with business goals, target audience, and budget;

- Experience on all common paid social platforms - as well in creative guidance and strategy, as in running ads;

- An open-minded approach and the eagerness to adapt in an ever-changing environment;

- A proven track record of implementing measurement solutions to effectively report & optimize campaign performance;

- Experience in working with cross-media teams and in comparing paid social KPIs to other channels;

- A strong passion for paid social, always staying up to date with the latest news and trends;

- Being directly available to start working in Germany or Macedonia;

- Working proficiency in the English and German languages.
