We're looking for Deputy Manager - India Compliance and Payroll to join our Accounts team, reporting to the Manager- India Compliance and Payroll. You will handle all GL & Payroll related activities with team including management of daily operations. We are looking for a dynamic individual having accounting background with sound knowledge of accounting and has handled General Ledger, Payroll, Taxation and other related tasks. You will:

  • Prepare monthly payroll data, incorporating and reviewing of employees' variable sheet, reaching out to employees in case of variances and answering and resolving employee queries.
  • Meet the timelines and deadlines for payment of statutory dues like PF, PT, TDS, ESI etc.
  • Sound knowledge of Income tax rules and regulations for analyzing and preparing data related to salary and other variable income.
  • Review the journal entries and analysing expenses accounts.
  • Help with month end reconciliations.
  • Help with special assignments as needed by Head Quarters.
  • Help with the statutory and tax audit and preparation of data accordingly.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Payroll and Taxation experience.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Well versed in MS office such as PPT, word and excel.
  • Flexibility and eagerness to work and meet tight deadlines (especially at quarter end).
