We are looking for a Front-End Technology Lead (FETL). Is responsible for designing and writing code, performing code reviews, developing technical documentation, emails, and banners, and becoming a key contributor in their team and project. A Front-End Technology Lead acts as a technical leader in projects, ensuring that the team maintains high levels of performance and builds and strengthens the relationship with the client. The FETL will work closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end-users.

You will:

  • Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives and landing pages.
  • Scope technical components of overall solutions accurately.
  • Provide hands-on development support to the project team where necessary.
  • Contribute to solution architecture designs and lead code reviews.
  • Understand the technical complexities of multi-tiered web solutions and ensure appropriate design solutions are achieved.

You have:

  • 5+ years of previous experience working as a Senior Software Engineer. 
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of ES6 JavaScript outside of any library/framework abstraction.
  • Experience managing the development and delivery of commercial websites or web apps.
  • Experience with React and Next.js.
  • Familiarity with website operations and fluency in the typical tiers on a high-traffic website


It’s a plus:

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent strong experience as Software Development Lead in exact areas of expertise required for CM (Digital Agencies projects, Web development projects, SCRUM/Agile software projects).
  • Tech lead previous experience.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience with Webpack or other tools used to optimize and maintain front-end build systems.
  • Experience working in an agency and/or creative and/or technical consultancy environment.
