We’re looking for an inspired, motivated, and experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join our team. The  Senior Back-End Developer is responsible for writing code and providing support to applications. A Senior Back-End Developer can work independently on basic tasks, assuming ownership of the design and programming required. This individual will rely on existing methods for more complex work and seek guidance from more senior positions. The SBEND should also be able to provide constant progress status to a senior level as needed and estimates for his tasks that must be approved by his senior or technology lead of the current project.  The individual in this position works with web and back-end technologies such as Sitecore – C#, SQL Server, and Azure, and his knowledge in the related IDE for software development. 


You will

  • Collaborate and communicate efficiently and effectively with other groups such as Creative, Business, and Technology throughout all project lifecycle phases.
  • Develop and provide maintenance to new and existing applications.
  • Work closely with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams to ensure quality and punctual software development
  • Understand and maps user and business-driven requirements to the appropriate technologies.
  • Implement technology solutions that address our clients’ business needs and challenges while leveraging our best practices and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Debug or troubleshoots issues in existing software applications and provide impact analysis
  • Provide feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists.
  • Ensure concise and clear documentation is maintained by all peers for the projects as dictated by each Capability’s guidelines and best practices

You have:

  • English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation) 
  • Between 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience designing and developing web applications using various technologies and languages such as Java/J2EE, .NET, Web Services, and XML.
  • Basic experience with data storage patterns and practices, namely relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) platforms
  • Beginning-level knowledge of design patterns (e.g., model-view-controller, observer, etc.) and software engineering principles
  • Capable of implementing simple, functional requirements independently while implementing complex requirements with minimal oversight
  • Capable of debugging or troubleshooting web software applications, preferably using debugging tools such as an IDE or proxy.
  • Ability to work well within a team and under tight schedules
  • Work experience with new technologies and emerging techniques in programming
  • Work experience with XML/JSON and its role in software projects.
  • Work experience with revision control systems.
  • Capable of building solutions consuming web services and understanding how web services work as providers.
  • Capable of writing unit tests and implementing best coding practices defined by Hangar.
  • Solid experience working with Sitecore solutions.
  • Able to integrate complex frontend layouts into Sitecore solutions.
  • Experience integrating Sitecore with third-party services like DocuSign.
  • Knowledge of setting up Sitecore environments.
