We're looking for a Manager, L&D Content & Experience Design who is customer-obsessed and driven to innovate as we build and transform how we make content and education available to employees, customers, and partners when they need it. The right candidate will help scale global education and enablement programs along with establishing and driving world-class content and learning experiences. You will be strategic, creative, not afraid to roll-up sleeves, and have demonstrated drive to solve real customer problems and revolutionize learning experiences. This leadership role will report into the Performance, Education, and Knowledge (PEAK) Team as part of the global Customer Experience organization comprising Technical Services, Professional Services, PEAK, Portfolio, and Customer Success. 

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritize, plan, manage, and sometimes develop new or update existing curriculum development projects and programs.
  • Partner with functional stakeholders and L&D team members in a consultative manner to align learning solutions with development needs.
  • Develop processes to manage and scale day-to-day operations.
  • Develop, mentor, inspire, manage, and lead a team of learning professionals to execute and drive business outcomes.
  • Own the design, development, and implementation of the intake process in partnership with PEAK leadership.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and execution of projects and programs as part of the PEAK content roadmap through application of effective evaluation, intake, and prioritization methodologies with the rest of PEAK leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional alignments and partnerships related to education and training content.
  • Drive learning solutions and experience consumption that ultimately contributes to expanding Pure mindshare and drives performance.
  • Design learning experiences that are creative, innovative, engaging, and incorporate the latest technologies with varying audiences’ needs in mind.
  • Ensure all key strategic content projects are executed with excellence and in alignment with PEAK programs and goals.
  • Proactively assess and address gaps that learning content and solutions can solve for.
  • Measure, evaluate, and turn insights into actions that continuously drive improvement in our learning content and experiences which in turn impacts business outcomes.
  • Review standard curriculum design and development templates for use across L&D to drive consistency in materials development, delivery methodology, or delivery vehicles.
  • Continuously innovate designs of new content and learning experiences.
  • Design process to track and analyze curriculum effectiveness of training programs, apply feedback as needed, and establish a maintenance cycle for content.
  • Provide thought leadership in content and learning experiences that drive performance, scale, and keep our stakeholders and global audiences in mind.
  • Contribute information and recommendations to help in drafting strategic plans.
  • Is a learning business partner to senior leadership by providing strategic input to executive, senior leadership, and other internal partners on all aspects of content and learning experiences.
  • Establishes processes and ways of designing and managing content in a scaled way that ensures accessibility, ease of use, maintenance, and much more.
  • Ability to present information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding while expertly engaging cross-functionally as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years working in a content or curriculum designer-related role
  • Previous experience working in a technical support and/or customer support organization is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing a team consisting of instructional designers, vendor partners, contractors and consultants.
  • Experienced using video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Camtasia)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience using various graphic design styles and techniques.
  • Experience with learning management systems to publish and manage content.
  • Experience working with and integrating the use of knowledge bases and online reference for learning and performance support.
  • Strong program manager with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write, design, develop, and manage projects.
  • Experience with leading projects for an entire group or department, or a major piece of a larger cross company product or project.
  • Significant experience working where customer satisfaction is paramount in a service delivery care environment.
  • Significant experience in courseware development of a complex nature, demonstrating agility, speed, and efficiency of advanced instructional design, in a highly changing environment.
  • Experience in and current on instructional innovation and technology.
  • Portfolio/work examples required for consideration.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara CA, Lehi Utah or Raleigh North Carolina office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $100,000.00 - $218,000.00

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
