Pure is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevSecOps engineer, you will build, operate, and maintain infrastructure and tools for both traditional on premises and cloud. A successful candidate for this role will continuously improve the security of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline, by resolving gaps, streamlining redundancies, and automating all that can be automated.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Contribute to the development of establishing infrastructure-as-code
- Aid in the development of containerized, immutable infrastructure
- Leverage tooling to identify and remediate excessive entitlements, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
- Contribute and update infrastructure systems to incorporate security policies and standards
- Engage with multiple development teams to ensure adherence to secure development standards
- Integrate and surface security tooling within our CI/CD pipeline
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Have a solid background building secure and reliable software systems
- 8+ years building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- 4+ years of experience with languages such as C++, Python, and Java
- Possess knowledge of securing, preferably both on-prem and cloud-based, applications, systems, databases, and processes
- Familiarity with security considerations within the Software Development Lifecycle
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent years related experience required
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment
- You will be based in Bangalore, India. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
