PURE IN PRAGUE
We opened our R&D Second Home (besides the one in Silicon Valley) in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. Our Engineers are solving complex engineering problems (from low-level system software to cloud computing) that help us innovate our cutting-edge products. Besides our world-class Software Engineering teams, we have many other talented colleagues working in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and HR to name a few. What’s more, we’ve developed these teams from talent across the globe.
DTG Product Team
The DTG “Digital Transformation Group” Product Management team is responsible for building out world class infrastructure that powers commerce execution and supercharges the analytical capabilities for Pure Storage. Our team works with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales as well as our executive staff to drive initiatives forward.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Define overall product and feature requirements - future product strategy with sustainable and compelling differentiation based on customer needs, competitive analysis, market and technology trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, size, and develop scalable go-to-market models.
- Work closely with engineering counterparts based in Prague to prioritize enhancements and shape a compelling services roadmap focused on customer outcomes.
- Drive Data Platform Excellence - You will own our overall data platform product offering supporting infrastructure, extraction, ingestion, orchestration and monitoring.
- Automate and orchestrate new ways of doing business - You will own orchestration of commerce activities such as integrations with external partners and internal CRMs, automation of manual processes and rule based initiatives.
- Work closely with the DTG and Pure executive team to establish scope and goals of projects as well as providing leadership to the project teams.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 8-10+ years of combined experience in a product management/engineering or related roles
- A background in data platform ecosystems to partner with engineering teams in building out our next generation platform
- A background in commerce execution and understanding of end-to-end commerce processes from Quote to Order, Order to Cash, Fulfillment and CX a major plus
- A solid understanding of product life cycles, from concept inception to product end-of-life
- Ability to provide clear and timely product requirements
- Ability to work in a rapid pace, cross geography environment with multiple shifting priorities
- Ability to work with engineering in AGILE methodologies to deliver products
- Ability to market and evangelize product capabilities to stakeholders to drive use case acquisition and increase product adoption
- Consistent record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, Master’s Degree or a Business degree a plus
You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
