Our International business is our high growth engine of Pure, covering the Theatres of APJ, EMEA and LATAM. The Theatres each have their own unique capabilities, cultural diversity but all have a thirst for analytical information and that's where you come in.

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to support the International Sales team. The role requires a high level of cross-group collaboration, analytical skills, experience in influencing others and executive maturity skills. You will have the unique opportunity to lead and influence a core part of Pure's strategy. This is an instrumental role for Finance to provide value added analysis to the business.

This role will focus heavily on business intelligence, analytics, reporting, supporting and partnering with multiple stakeholders within Finance, Operations, and the International Sales organizations among others. It is an instrumental role for Finance to provide value added analysis to the business. This person will be responsible for leading strategic planning and analyses, accelerating top line growth, driving increased profitability, developing financial metrics and helping drive operational processes that scale for Pure’s growth. High exposure to key Sales leaders while supporting strategic initiatives within each function.

It is a key position which reports to the Senior Manager, GTM Finance Shared Services and will require you to have solid communication skills, demonstrate a consistent record in business analytics and the ability to tell a story through data.

The GTM Finance Shared Services team’s vision is to commit to excellence across the following key areas: Insightful Reporting: Delivering precise, timely, and comprehensive financial reports that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions; In-Depth Analysis: Conducting thorough analyses to uncover actionable insights and drive strategic growth; Strategic Planning: Leading forward-thinking planning efforts to ensure our financial and operational goals are not just met but exceeded; Cutting-Edge Automation: Pioneering innovative solutions that streamline processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance operational efficiency; Collaborative Business Partnering: Working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to support and drive key business initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Business partner with International Sales management to create department level operating expense quarterly targets and annual budgets.
  • Update and maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and analytics. Provide insightful metrics that will support go-to-market strategy formation and measure the success of execution. Analyze business trends, customer buying patterns, pipeline, deals, and markets. Prepare monthly actuals vs budget analysis and review with business partners.
  • Assist in building various critical business and financial models for headcount, expenses, commission, pipeline and bookings - allowing the information to be presented clearly and for non-financial audience.
  • Assist in setting the team's strategy, desired headcount ratios, and investment plans. Drive expense management activities for sales teams and identify risks and opportunities to budget/plan.
  • Develop and maintain recurring management reporting packages summarizing key trends and analysis. Provide support to the International team on special projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team at month end and quarter end close to validate accruals and report and analyze variances and completeness of financial results. 
  • Architect policy, process, and governance to enable prompt decision making with accountability and ensure compliance. Drive continuous process improvement and best practices sharing. Standardize and automate reporting to scale the business.
  • Drive cross functional alignment and collaborate with other teams in initiatives around spend planning, KPI reporting, forecasting accuracy improvement, etc.
  • Assist in forecast data upload into Anaplan.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A. Advanced Proficiency in complex financial modeling and predictive data analytics is highly desired.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast paced and ambiguous environment, simultaneously manage multiple priorities and challenge the status quo to drive change and process improvement.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting fundamentals. Analytical and strategic thinker. 
  • Great systems experience in Salesforce, Anaplan, NetSuite, SAP, Tableau, Gappify or similar systems. High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases. Proficiency in SQL or database programming languages is a plus.
  • Attention to detail when necessary and ability to synthesize large volumes of data and summarize into presentation/management views.
  • Experience in technology industries or sales finance or sales operations is a plus.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, collaborative, and a strong team player.
  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA a plus.
