The Contract Business Analyst, will be a key member of the Supply Chain digital transformation project working closely with stakeholders from various business units to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring the successful implementation of ERP product configurator, and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- Analyze current product configurations and identify opportunities for redesign within the CTO (Configure to Order) model
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to develop optimized product configurations
- Conduct process analysis and mapping using Lucidchart and other diagramming tools
- Create detailed process diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation to visualize current and future state processes
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to drive consensus and validate requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for the Product redesign as part of the ERP Implementation
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with the technical team to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of the product restructure and CPQ process to ensure it meets business needs and objectives
- Assist in the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, including test cases and scenarios
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of the new ERP system
- Act as a liaison between business units and the project team to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare and present regular status reports to project stakeholders and senior management
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of process changes, providing ongoing support and adjustments as needed
- Stay current with industry trends, methodologies, and tools related to business process management and improvement
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master's Degree, advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in similar digital transformation projects with a strong focus on process analysis and improvement
- Functional experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Product Management a plus
- Expertise in creating lucid and process diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, or similar software
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), product configurator & CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ, Logik.io, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and team members
- Knowledge of business process management (BPM) methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPMN) is a plus
- Expertise in Oracle and SAP systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
- Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
- Highly analytical, fact driven, and is process-oriented.
You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to comply with Pure's Hybrid Work Policy. There will be variations over periods of time, depending on business needs.
