In Digital Experience (DX), our goal is to deliver the ultimate in fleet management simplicity. In the last four years, Pure1 has consistently extended its services and now provides full-stack analytics and AI-driven predictive intelligence through a SaaS-based business model. Pure1 enables the customer's journey to the hybrid cloud by offering a single pane of glass to manage data assets on-prem and in the public cloud. In addition to that, we are offering a variety of as-a-Service solutions to solve modern customer needs.

Services developed in DX form the unifying manageability and intelligence layer on top of all Pure products - FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx and more to come. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Champion a clear vision for the DX Quality Engineering (DXQE) team, outlining a collaborative path to elevate product quality within the Digital Experience Business Unit.
  • Craft a strategic roadmap with achievable milestones, emphasizing continuous progress and impactful delivery.
  • Advocate for and secure buy-in from key stakeholders, including DX leadership and the community of Engineering Managers (EMs) and Engineering Leads (ELs), fostering a culture of shared resources and support.
  • Inspire the DXQE team around the shared vision, ensuring strong alignment and commitment to achieving goals.
  • Empower the DXQE team by evaluating skill sets and aligning them with strategic needs.
  • Guide the team towards smooth execution of the vision, prioritizing tasks and adapting plans with an open mind to feedback and evolving requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Experience leading technical teams in quality engineering or software development.
  • Engineering mindset, but also an actual track record in Software Engineering roles.
  • Influential leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision, connect with stakeholders, and build a successful, motivated team.
  • Strategic planning expertise, with a history of successfully executing roadmaps and delivering impactful results.
  • Collaborative spirit, with a proven track record of integrating quality engineering practices seamlessly into broader engineering processes.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and technologies, with the ability to architect or co-architect frameworks and processes that significantly improve product quality.
  • Agility to refine strategies based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Sharp analytical skills to assess the team's effectiveness in achieving strategic goals.
  • Passion for influencing quality engineering practices across the BU, with opportunities to shape the team's direction and champion quality assurance policies.

As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
