We are seeking an experienced IT Agile Senior Program Manager to provide overall program management support for a multiyear, large-scale transformative project spanning multiple organizations within IT and other parts of the company. This project has significant impact and visibility at the highest levels of the company. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience to ensure successful execution and alignment with strategic objectives, driving transformative initiatives and fostering innovation within program execution. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Program Oversight: Provide overall program management support for a large, transformative project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and managing execution across multiple organizations.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify program-level risks, develop comprehensive mitigation strategies, and make critical decisions to mitigate potential obstacles.
- Resource Optimization: Efficiently manage program resources, optimize utilization across multiple projects or teams, and oversee budget allocation to maximize productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of deliverables across multiple projects, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall program efficiency.
- Communication: Facilitate transparent communication channels within the program, present comprehensive reports to executive stakeholders, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders, including senior management and external partners, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with program goals.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and empower multiple project teams or departments, provide guidance, mentorship, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Analytical Support: Provide high-level analytical support to executive stakeholders, offering strategic guidance by synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that influence project direction and organizational strategies.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience.
- Proven track record of managing large, transformative projects with significant impact and visibility.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a must.
- Strong ability to mentor and develop staff, particularly in soft skills.
- Extensive experience in risk management, resource optimization, and budget management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide high-level support and strategic guidance to executive stakeholders.
- Preferred: SAFe certified, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need
The annual base salary range is: USD $172,000.00 - USD $259,000.00 /Yr. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
