SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- The Pure Storage EMEA Global Systems Integrators (GSI) Solution Architects Director is responsible for leading a team of technical engineers across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) supporting our key GSI and MSP partners.
- The EMEA GSI SA Director will manage the organization to support and develop their team to ensure they meet their goals in line with the overall KPIs of GSI revenue, growth and strategic solutions.
- The GSI SA Director should have broad and deep IT industry experience and a high degree of business acumen. In this role, you will set strategy and vision for the team helping to articulate Pure’s position and message in the GSI market landscape.
- In this role you will need to have a broad base of skills and experience, be a good communicator and leader, a team motivator and will need to work well with cross functional teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...
- Demonstrate effective people development in a rapidly evolving technical space.
- Collaborate with GSI Sales, EMEA Sales and Presales Leaders to ensure a successful partnership while supporting the growth of the business.
- Have a desire to drive operational excellence; create a team support creation and validation of technical demand.
- Become a trusted and collaborative conduit between sales, engineering, and product management.
- Inspire excitement internally and externally around the company's long-term vision and ability to execute against the market trend while being the best choice for GSI’ businesses.
- Help maintain the company culture in an effort to continue to retain and attract top technical talent.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for the GSI technical and sales organization.
- Proficient in driving for results, with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus in dynamically evolving environment.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU...
- Previous management experience leading high performing technical engineers.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including on-prem, Public Cloud, provisioning automation, and Containers.
- Ability to combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Executive presence and ability to evangelise momentums with a wide range of dispositions.
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership expertise.
- Understanding of the enterprise storage market landscape and experience with Global System Integrators.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
