Pure continues to grow in the Data Protection market - a strategic growth area. To support this growth in Data Protection, Pure is looking to hire a Strategic Alliance Manager for Cohesity. In this role you will:
- Help scale and strengthen Pure’s success with FlashRecover, Powered by Cohesity - announced on August 12, 2020. Success will be measured in terms of FlashRecover pipeline, bookings and global execution upstream (product/technology) and downstream (sales/partners/support).
- Drive scale and operational efficiency into a seamless SLA-based process flow for deal registration, special pricing and related critical operational functions.
- Build strong cross functional relationships that help scale a seamless technology and market execution plan for FlashRecover.
- Develop strategies and drive process automation to allow Pure to operate more efficiently and make it easier to buy/sell FlashRecover.
- Help drive the joint demand generation activity with Cohesity that drives pipeline in existing Pure customers and creates whitespace opportunities.
- Develop key executive and field relationships with key Pure stakeholders and their Cohesity counterparts.
- Help develop channel strategies, programs and incentives to activate the channel and increase partner sourced pipeline.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 5+ years of Alliance or Channel management
- Ability to balance operational strategy and supporting sales execution with a roll-up your sleeves and "get it done" attitude.
- Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash process, SFDC, CPQ and other sales systems and processes.
- Ability to lead and assist with field enablement of operational activities to support FlashRecover Sales
- Motivated team player with expertise working in a fast paced, cross-functional manner.
- Ability to establish field facing and product/BU senior level relationships.
- Proven track record on delivering results and getting things done.
- Strong business acumen, outstanding communication skills and capability to effectively build relationships with executive leaders in the targeted Alliance ecosystem.
- Effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, operations and Alliance stakeholders.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally 30% to 40% of the time (when safe to do so).
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus.
