About the role

As a Large Language Model (LLM) Research Scientist, you will be a key member of our research team, dedicated to advancing the field of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and evaluation of state-of-the-art language models, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions for language understanding and generation tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects and collaborate with a team of talented researchers and engineers in a stimulating and dynamic environment



  • Lead the design and implementation of novel algorithms and architectures for large language models.
  • Conduct research experiments to investigate and improve the performance and efficiency of LLMs across various NLP tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental results to derive meaningful insights and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLMs into practical applications and products.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and ML research, and incorporate relevant techniques into our work.
  • Mentor junior researchers and interns, providing guidance and support in their research endeavors.
  • Engage with the academic and research community through conference presentations, publications, and collaborations.
  • Drive innovation within the team by proposing and exploring new research directions and ideas.


About you

  • Experience in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of research excellence demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences or journals in NLP or ML.
  • Expertise in deep learning, with a focus on natural language processing tasks and architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate and tackle complex research problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

[Preferred qualifications]

  • Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with advanced techniques in deep learning, such as attention mechanisms, transformer architectures, and self-supervised learning.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++, Java, or Scala.
  • Prior experience in leading or contributing to open-source projects related to NLP or ML.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and drive projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated passion for advancing the state-of-the-art in NLP and ML through research and innovation.
