About the role
The Sales Development Associate for U.S/EMEA is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound email outreach, cold calls, and inbound lead follow-ups. We are looking for high-energy, analytical, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join. You will gain experience communicating with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries, and selling all Appier product suites.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive prospect attack campaigns including email outreach, social media outreach, and call follow-ups to generate new clients from untapped opportunities.
- Create and refine email sequences for different product suites and verticals (i.e. beauty, fashion, gaming, e-commerce etc).
- Create and track prospecting spreadsheet, develop an analytic outreach framework with regional sellers, and report weekly progress
- Localize and outsource email templates to multiple languages to target different regions in the US.
- Join sales calls with sellers to assist in the pitching process and offer support where necessary.
- Use lead generation tools (Outreach, ZoomInfo, Apollo) to find the right prospects based on a specific attack criteria (traffic size, monthly app installs, etc.), and update the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Work with our experienced Business Development Team and Enterprise Solution Experts to help qualify the opportunities (inbound and outbound), fill their pipeline with sales qualified leads, and assist in the deal-closure process.
- Engage with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Appier product suites.
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research to expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working against and exceeding an assigned sales quota in an advertising, media or SaaS related-sales role.
- Self-motivated, able to adapt to an ambiguous, fast paced sales environment
- A track record of proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong email writing skills and the ability to use lead-generation tools to scout potential prospects
- Ability to send hundreds of emails on a daily basis through an automated outreach platform
- Confident in cold calling to potential clients and digital inbound leads
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Email content writing experience
- Strong problem solving ability
- Crisp oral and written ability in English
- A bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred Skills
- Professional knowledge of terminology, trends and concepts of digital marketing
- Product and content writing knowledge
- Multi-lingual capabilities (Spanish, French etc.)
- Experience in advertising sales, software sales, marketing, consulting, account management, or media.
