About the role

The Sales Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales growth, both through acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships, while delivering exceptional service to support our team's revenue objectives in the Hong Kong and South China market.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Proactive Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain proactive communication with both new and existing clients, offering education, proposing solutions, and securing buy-in for Appier's advertising solutions.
  2. Targeted Program Sales: Identify, propose, and execute sales programs tailored to organizations operating within the target markets and sectors defined by the company.
  3. Client Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, products, services, customer demographics, marketing strategies, competitive landscape, and sales needs.
  4. Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage your individual sales pipeline to optimize sales revenue while providing accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  5. Client Service Excellence: Respond to general and customized client inquiries with the highest level of professionalism and service quality.
  6. Digital Marketing Influence: Establish yourself as an influential figure in the local digital marketing sector, effectively engaging with Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and Heads of Marketing to facilitate existing growth.
  7. Strategic Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate strategic relationships, pinpointing key opportunities for new business development.

 

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital media sales.
  • Creative and adept problem solver with a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong grasp of the Digital & Mobile marketing industry.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and sales skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a successful sales track record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive initiative, and follow-through.
  • Extensive local network and relationships with advertisers and media agencies.
  • Ability to translate complex technology processes into practical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Proficiency in handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in the digital marketing field.
