About the role

As the Strategic Pricing Manager at Appier, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with our revenue goals and market positioning. This role is essential for ensuring that our pricing decisions are data-driven and strategically sound. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing models. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future pricing strategy of a dynamic and growing company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that support company revenue goals and market positioning.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demand to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer success,  marketing, product and sales operation to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present analytic insights and pricing recommendations to senior management.
  • Utilize pricing tools and models to forecast the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and methodologies.
  • Support the development of promotional and discount strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing regulations and policies.

 

About you

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other fields with a strong quantitative or analytical focus 
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in strategic management consulting, pricing strategy, financial analysis, or a related role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Very strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in analytical tools and software, and good understanding of market research techniques and data analysis methods.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles and their application to pricing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work and the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
