YouGov Sport is looking for an experienced & passionate Senior Associate Director to join our team in London. This role will be responsible for managing a growing team of media analysts & Associate Directors and providing leadership on a wide array of media research projects.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):  

  • Management of several complex media projects at any given time.
  • Direct client servicing across several clients, meeting their needs through interpreting expectations into action and managing timely delivery of insightful reports & leading the delivery of client presentations. 
  • Identify and act upon commercial opportunities, using knowledge of the full suite of YouGov products and services
  • Promote collaborative relationships between YouGov departments, working closely in particular with the YouGov Sport commercial and consumer teams to ensure strong briefs and efficient delivery for the client is achieved.
  • Lead in resource management of respective team, identifying how best to allocate expertise to projects, enhance process efficiency and take action when resource needs to grow.
  • Direct the onboarding, data preparation, methodology application and report writing for new clients, continuously reinforcing high quality standards that promote accuracy and meaningful insight at speed.
  • Develop new approaches, models and methodologies that will enhance report accuracy and speed and efficiency of delivery.
  • Collaborate with data gathering teams to ensure client delivery goals are aligned and progress proactively communicated. 
  • Keep abreast of changes across the sport media industry, pursuing opportunities (research insights, data supplies etc) that present themselves and empowering team members to do the same.
  • Responding to RFP’s and managing renewal conversations

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview: 

  • Over four years relevant experience, gained at a research agency or a mix of agency and client-side. This experience should include both analytics and client servicing
  • People manager with examples of team member coaching, feedback and shaping SMART objectives
  • Experience working on multiple projects and hitting deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships, handling challenging conversations and successfully negotiating client contracts
  • Examples of enhancing project efficiency and profitability
  • Extensive experience of shaping insightful reports tailored to client requirements
  • Technical expertise in various media valuation methodologies
