We're looking for a dynamic Account Director with a passion for client success to join our high-performing Account Management team and make a significant impact in the US market. What will I be delivering?

As an Account Director, you'll take the lead in driving growth by managing client relationships and boosting account value year-over-year through renewals, cross-selling, and upselling. You’ll be the go-to person for our clients, understanding their unique challenges, proposing creative solutions, and skilfully negotiating deals to meet their needs. Working closely with our talented research and client services teams, you’ll ensure that every client interaction delivers exceptional value.

Under the mentorship of the VP of Account Management, US, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the future direction of key accounts and sectors. Your responsibilities extend to client engagement, the formulation of comprehensive account growth strategies, and active participation in the strategic targeting of brands and sectors for marketing campaigns aimed at cultivating new business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success managing a portfolio of approximately $5M in annual sales.
  • A track record of deepening client relationships, with experience in upselling and cross-selling a variety of services.
  • Expertise in identifying custom research opportunities and scoping projects that drive additional value.
  • Experience working directly with C-suite executives, delivering insights and driving engagement.
  • Leadership experience managing and developing a team of Account Managers.
  • Proficiency in sales pipeline management tools like Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • A minimum of $5M in existing business growth under your leadership, with a focus on upselling data products.
  • Exceptional presentation and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Passion for developing team members and fostering growth in an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Familiarity with financial services, nonprofit, academic, or telecom industries.
  • Experience cultivating a strong team culture in a remote work setting.

 

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $107,500- $137,000
Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits.
