Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
We are looking for a Quality Coordinator to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Management System for our module fabrication facility to ensure the organization’s construction operations maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes
- Ensuring compliance with current regulations
- Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures
- Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports
- Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans
- Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies
- Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures
- Providing departments with quality planning and support
- Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions
- Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Quality Assurance is ideal; however, years of service in similar roles demonstrating capabilities could be substituted
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Quality field with at least 5 years in a Leadership Role
- Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferred
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities change
- Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance
- Have the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc
- Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
Preferred Minimum Certifications
- AWS CWI or ASNT Level II VT
- ASNT Level II Film Interpretation
- NACE Level II
