Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal to assist Venture Global and its subsidiaries with corporate and finance transactions, including in areas of corporate governance, contract compliance, and other corporate and transactional matters. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel and working closely with the Legal, Finance and Treasury teams, the Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing various agreements and forms on behalf of the company. The Corporate Paralegal will also support the management of subsidiaries, preparing and maintaining electronic data rooms, legal operations and special projects, as well as generally support the in-house Legal team with research, presentations, document management, organization, and filings.

Job Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate is preferred.
Five (5) or more years of experience working at a law firm or in-house as a corporate paralegal, supporting corporate and finance transactions, subsidiary management, corporate governance and other related corporate matters.
Proficiency in using various business software tools, including entity management (CT Corp or similar), contract management (Ironclad or similar), data rooms (Merrill, Box, SharePoint), invoicing (Coupa or similar), DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and Concur.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as with business team members and external counsel in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-project business environment.
