Smartsheet is looking for a Manager of Recruiting to lead the business recruiting function at Smartsheet. You will directly manage a team of recruiters supporting full-cycle recruiting efforts across Product Management, Experience Design, Business Intelligence, and Marketing, ensuring quality hiring at scale. You'll partner directly with leaders across different units to build strategic hiring and progressive interviewing programs, and you'll work with leaders within Talent Acquisition to refine processes that support recruiting data integrity. You will report to the Director of Technical Recruiting who is based in Bellevue, WA. You can be based anywhere in the U.S. where Smartsheet is a registered employer and may and work remotely or from one of our offices as a hybrid employee.

You Will:

  • Manage and prioritize hiring for multiple departments and may occasionally flex to assist with recruiting efforts
  • Hire and train new recruiters on our hiring processes and systems
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
  • Ensure recruiters are managing to hiring metrics
  • Provide creative and scalable solutions to guide hiring and meet our goals
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop data-driven recommendations for sourcing/hiring advice on the range of solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and interviewers, providing consultative advice, guidance, expertise, and support
  • Lead by example through following, setting, and/or sharing recruiting best practices
  • Participate in ad-hoc Talent Acquisition projects
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

You Have:

  • 6+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, corporate and agency
  • 3 or more years of experience in people management and mentorship managing recruiters/recruiting coordinators in the software or tech industry
  • Experience consulting and managing clients
  • Experience closing senior or executive level candidates with complex compensation packages
  • Experience managing an ATS - we use Greenhouse
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity
  • Experience solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering impact as a manager and a leader
  • Passion for advancing the human capital agenda of the organization
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
