Smartsheet is looking for a Senior Manager of Sales Systems to support our growing sales and operations team. A large portion of this role is managing the daily operations of Salesforce Administrators. You will also work with departmental leaders and team members to manage the operations of the Sales Systems team and provide strategy and planning for the team's development. You will report to the Senior Director of Field Systems.

You Will:

  • Lead a team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers
  • Be a team resource that provides technical and architectural system design input when planning and building applications and solutions in Salesforce.
  • Supervise and review technical solutions built by the team to preemptively identify issues, ensure solutions follow system best practices, can scale, and are easily maintained by others.
  • Support the team in DevOps practices including deployment, release on demand, quality, testing and monitoring.
  • Work with other development teams within the organization to build, manage, and troubleshoot cross-platform integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date on the Salesforce releases in order to mitigate potential impacts and proactively identify how new features can be applied to business challenges.
  • Perform Salesforce configuration based on needs of the business and team capacity.
  • Manage the daily activities of the team including one-on-ones, solution reviews, debugging assistance, collaboration with stakeholders, and prioritization and scoping of work items. 
  • Ensure work is delivered on time in order to meet deadlines.
  • Work with department leaders and program managers on feature requests, strategy, and prioritization of Field Systems work.
  • Provide leadership on Agile processes to support continuous delivery of high quality solutions.
  • Communicate with senior management on the status of projects, timelines, challenges to implementation, and deployments in a non-technical manner.
  • Build a team culture of positivity, inclusiveness, and collaboration.
  • Manage vendor relationships for tools and software used by the Field Systems team.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience managing a development or administrative team
  • 6+ years of experience performing Salesforce system administration or development
  • 6+ years of experience with other connected applications such as DocuSign, Gainsight, Snowflake, etc.
  • 6+ years of experience with Agile methodologies required
  • Experience with Scaled Agile framework preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $151,200 - $199,800 | All other US states: $140,000 - $185,000
