You can expect a day as the User Experience Design Intern to consist of meeting with product stakeholders and customers to define the problem at hand. You will work with other designers and researchers to create low-fidelity and whiteboard product concepts. Using Sketch and prototyping tools, create high-fidelity mockups that align with the Smartsheet Design System. Develop presentation skills to communicate design thinking effectively to the team. Evaluate and critique other designer's work. Conduct usability tests directly with customers to gather feedback. By the end of the summer you should be able to walk through the entire design process, present low and high-fidelity mockups of the feature and usability testing results. You will present the problem at hand, a well-thought through and tested solution, how you arrived at the solution, and explain how the solution is adding value to our customers and the product.
