About The Team:
The Robotics System Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Noah Medical internal robotics systems. The Robotics System Technician will interface collaboratively with internal Engineering and Clinical Staff to manage repair schedules and equipment availability for various Noah Medical internal activities. The Robotics System Technician will provide exceptional internal customer support and should be able to apply basic engineering theory to accurately diagnose issues, understand root causes, and apply appropriate solutions. The Robotics System Technician will assist Production and Engineering when needed and as the service schedule allows.
They may additionally provide support to Marketing or Sales for seminars, trade shows, and other demonstrations, as necessary. The Robotics System Technician will also supply feedback to R&D regarding system performance, serviceability improvements as well as customer feedback. They will be responsible to properly document all activities and jobs performed in accordance with Noah’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
A Day In The Life Of Our Robotics System Technician:
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively is essential to succeed in this role.
- Advanced Debugging Skills: We're looking for someone with strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for debugging complex technical issues. You should be able to analyze system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Proficient Documentation Skills: Documentation is vital for maintaining the integrity and functionality of our robotic systems. You should be proficient in creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, HW/SW upgrade instructions and system configurations.
- Ownership Mentality: You'll be responsible for owning the internal servicing of our systems, ensuring maximum uptime and prompt resolution of any issues that may arise. We need someone who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates initiative, and can work independently to meet objectives.
- Collaborative Spirit: You will collaborate closely with colleagues to provide support and assistance. Additionally, you'll play a key role in training new field service engineers, sharing your expertise and contributing to their professional development.
About You:
- 0 to 5 years of experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical or robotics systems
- Associates degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or other Engineering discipline) preferred or military equivalent.
- Passionate about Robotics: You're enthusiastic about the field of robotics and its potential to revolutionize healthcare. You thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment where you can apply your skills to make a tangible impact
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to your work. You understand the importance of precision and accuracy when dealing with sophisticated robotic systems. Proper documentation is in your DNA
- Adaptable and Resourceful: You're adaptable to change and can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. You're resourceful in finding solutions to challenges and can think creatively to overcome obstacles
- Continuous Learner: You have a growth mindset and are eager to expand your knowledge and skills. You're proactive about staying updated on the latest advancements in robotics and related technologies

Pay Transparency
The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
