About The Team:
Noah Medical’s Imaging and Machine Learning team is responsible for the development of algorithmic and software solutions that provide advanced image guidance for our endoluminal medical devices. We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of computer vision, image processing, machine learning and software engineers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of medical imaging with the state-of-the-art technologies, and creating high performance, low latency innovative software products. We are a team that embraces transparent communication, first principle thinking, and data-driven decision making.

A Day In The Life Of Our Senior Algorithm Engineer (Medical Imaging and Machine Learning):
- Understand clinical applications and customer needs, gather feedback on software performance, user experience, and feature requests to drive product improvements
- Be the owner of the treatment planning algorithms
- Research, develop, evaluate and iterate advanced image segmentation, image processing and machine learning algorithms for medical imaging
- Develop, test and maintain high quality software applications using C++
- Evaluate and validate algorithms, implement robust performance measures, and conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Develop automated tests to streamline the software development processes, perform software release tasks
- Identify, diagnose and resolve software issues reported by both internal and external users, work with field service engineers to provide support for customer issues
- Develop 2D/3D image visualization and analysis tools
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of technical design, evaluation, issue resolutions and customer interactions
- Support building ML data pipeline to power the algorithm development, support data curation and annotation, support improving machine learning HW/SW infrastructure
- Be flexible and carry out other R&D and support tasks as assigned
About You:
- BS, MS or PhD in CS, EE, Biomedical Engineering, radiology or a related field
- A passion in translating knowledge and ideas into real-life medical imaging products
- A strong sense of ownership to build high quality software products
- Proficiency in object oriented software development in C++
- 5+ years of experience in commercial software development
- Proficiency in Python programming, as well as PyTorch/TensorFlow for machine learning algorithm development
- Experience in image segmentation, including experience with medical image segmentation will be highly desired
- Experience in 2D/3D image processing and computer vision is beneficial
- Experience with C#/GUI-development is very beneficial
- Experience with version control tools like Git is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly turn abstract ideas into working algorithm prototypes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
