About The Team:
We are an innovative team focused on transforming medical procedures with cutting-edge technology, aiming to make them more accurate, efficient, intuitive, and reliable. Our team is a cross-disciplinary mix of product managers, clinical engineers, and experts in computer vision, deep learning, navigation, sensor fusion, medical imaging, visualization, software development, and more. Working closely with our users, we’re defining the future of medical imaging and navigational support for interventions.

A Day In The Life Of Our Image Guidance Intern:
- Work with a mentor to explore the feasibility of one or more advanced product concepts for image guided procedures
- Research, implement and iterate advanced algorithms and prototypes to prove technical feasibility and clinical value
- Design and implement testing and evaluation methods to iterate solution
- Contribute to the development of product features
About You:
- PhD candidate with independent research experience in CS, EE, BME, robotics; exceptional MS candidate can be considered
- Solid foundation on mathematics and analytical skills.
- Excellent programming skill to turn concepts into reality in C++ and Python
- Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Expertise in one or more of the following technical areas
- 3d geometric computer vision: camera calibration, pose estimation, bundle adjustment
- Deep learning
- Image segmentation
- Image registration (2d-3d, 3d-3d)
- Tomographic reconstruction
- Simulation and data synthesis
- 3d graphics and visualization
- Image guided surgery systems
- Familiarity with tools in respective areas such as OpenCV, ITK, VTK, DL frameworks.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
