About The Team:
Noah’s Instruments and Accessories (I&A) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal instruments and accessories that are safe, effective and on-time. We are a dynamic, data-driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love.
Noah Medical I&A team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. I&A also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even post-market performance assessments.

A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Mechanical Engineer, I&A:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of endoluminal robotic endoscopes and instruments
- Become familiar with the target clinical indications, technical objectives, and help generate solutions that can deliver value to physicians and patients
- Create and maintain Solidworks CAD models and detailed drawings
- Prepare and lead technical, concept and design reviews for components, subsystems, and systems
- Leverage knowledge of various manufacturing techniques to quickly iterate designs and test against requirements
- Interact with Product, Marketing, and Clinical Engineering teams in order to help explore and converge on robust requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with Clinical Engineering in order to generate and establish clinically relevant test methods, including custom fixtures and tissue models
- Work closely with mechanical, robotics, software, instruments, and imaging engineering team members in order to proactively identify and mitigate integration challenges
About You:
- B.S. or M.S. preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields with 4+ years of experience. Non-degreed candidates with 8+ years relevant experience may also be considered.
- Strong mechanical engineering design aptitude and first principles approach
- Advanced SolidWorks user with at least 5 years of experience using SolidWorks or other CAD systems
- Previous experience with designing for machining, injection molding, 3D printing , laser cutting and other manufacturing techniques
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Versatile engineering background, capable of participating in projects involving hardware, software, electronics, and sensors
- Proven ability to derive multiple solutions to a problem, while also converging on ideal embodiment and clearly communicating “why” it is ideal.
- Committed and driven to create products that deliver value to patients, physicians, institutions, and payers.
- Experience with product development in a medical device engineering environment (or other regulated industry) is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
