About The Team:
Noah’s Instruments and Accessories (I&A) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal instruments and accessories that are safe, effective and on-time. We are a dynamic, data-driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love.
Noah Medical I&A team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. I&A also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even post-market performance assessments.

A Day In The Life Of Our Staff Mechanical Engineer, I&A:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of endoluminal robotic endoscopes and instruments, including the preparation of technical, concept and drawing reviews for components and assemblies
- Create and maintain design documentation including CAD models, detailed drawings, manufacturing instructions and other engineering models such as mathematical models or simulations
- Quickly iterate and test product designs, factoring in testing requirements, potential rapid prototyping techniques and future at-scale manufacturing implications
- Collaborate with product, marketing and clinical teams to explore and refine requirements and establish clinically relevant test methods
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams in order to proactively identify and mitigate integration challenges
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to transition prototypes into production, resolving manufacturing and supply chain issues in collaboration with manufacturing engineers and technicians
- Champion the Noah Medical culture, foster collaboration and support team development
About You:
- B.S. or M.S. preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields with required years of directly related experience (B.S.+8yrs; M.S.+6yrs, etc)
- A problem-solver with a first principles approach, eager to learn and mentor others
- Expertise in machining, injection molding, extrusion, 3D printing , laser cutting and other manufacturing techniques for surgical instruments and catheter-like devices
- Versatile engineering background, comfortable at the intersection of hardware and electronics
- Skilled at generating multiple solutions and converging on the best option, with clear rationale
- Experienced in medical device development, or similarly regulated industry
- Committed and driven to create products that deliver value to patients, physicians, institutions, and payers
- Advanced Solidworks or OnShape user (5+years), or similar CAD tools
- Strong written and verbal communication

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
