About The Team
The UX Design team at Noah Medical is dedicated to the development of safe, usable and delightful experiences for our users across hardware and software. We deeply collaborate with the product, clinical engineering, software and hardware engineering, and regulatory teams to define future Noah Medical products, as well as improvements to existing products. Whether it’s field research, in-depth user interviews, explorative design work or detailed design work throughout implementation into verification and validation testing, the UX Design team is involved on a daily basis.
A Day In The Life of Our Senior UI Designer:
- Absorb, digest and process complex technical and functional information into useful, useable, and efficient workflows, screen layouts and interactions
- Advocate for strong user-centered design practices and drive cross-functional engagement within the organization
- Champion and apply solid user experience and visual design design principles and best practices to design, iterate, prototype, test, and document
- Bring a strong visual design perspective to the organization for the next generation of embedded UIs for surgical robotics
- Collaborate with frontend and backend software teams, clinical engineers, product managers, and others to design and build detailed prototypes for evaluation with users as well as regular release candidates for our product UIs
- Support preparation and moderation of user evaluations and generative user research
- Support the development and maintenance of UI requirements and documentation
About You
- 5+ years of relevant experience (experience in medical device industry is highly preferred) in mature organizations
- You are comfortable with technical complexity and turning that into crisp requirements, easy-to-digest overviews, or simply ask the right questions
- Rich portfolio demonstrating a high degree of visual polish in storytelling as well as product UI execution. Experience in embedded UIs is preferred.
- Experience designing for a variety of touchpoints ranging from tablet-sized and large desktop-sized touch displays
- You have a good sense of when to challenge perspectives and dream big and when to provide the rigid structure for efficiency
- You have a knack for learning new things and complex products that go beyond just a touch screen UI
- You’re comfortable working in cross-functional teams and love to learn from others, but are equally excited to deep-dive on your own.
- You’re eager to bring an outside perspective on design and inspiration into the design team at Noah Medical

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
