DeVries is seeking a Manager to assist the Global EVP, Business Intelligence, in the design, analysis, and reporting of both primary and secondary market research projects to support existing clients and new business prospects.  Successful candidates must be able to take initiative, prioritize with minimal supervision, and work independently as well as part of a team.

What you'll do:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned research projects, providing timely, reliable primary and secondary market research data gathered through both internal and external sources
  • Work with internal teams and clients to understand and leverage trends affecting the worlds in which they operate
  • Analyze data, create visually-interesting reports, analyses, and presentations summarizing research findings for teams and clients
  • Develop actionable insights that drive strategic direction
  • Liaise with third party vendors and parent company to manage database and technology resources
  • Use a wide range of social listening/aggregation platforms to conduct necessary research functions (e.g., media analysis, competitive intelligence, sector analysis, customer values, market segmentation, and new product development)
  • News monitor and manage competitive intelligence efforts: social media audits, landscape analysis, marketplace competitiveness experience
  • Manage the collection and synthesizing of data for clients across the social PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned) spectrum. 

 

What you'll have:

  • 5+ years’ experience within a research group of an agency, analysis or similar role gaining the foundational skills in qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis required
  • Experience in consumer product markets a plus
  • Experience analyzing data sets and writing reports, measuring communications efforts
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral, as well as the ability to take responsibility, think analytically, and work in a team environment
  • Understanding of statistical concepts
  • Extremely detail-oriented with high quality standards
  • Strong syndicated database knowledge (TrendKite, SimilarWeb, Moz, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Social Media listening tools and platforms (TalkWalker, BrandWatch, etc.)
