Associate, Talent Acquisition/Human Resources

Golin is looking for a dynamic Associate, Talent Acquisition/Human Resources, to support our Talent and Human Resources teams in our Central region. In this role, you will work closely on various people initiatives for our Chicago and Dallas offices to ensure and support a best-in-class candidate and employee experience.

You will be a key part of the team, helping with talent outreach and contributing to positive candidate experiences. This role will have exposure to a diverse mix of open positions across consumer, corporate and technology practices within public relations and digital/social communications. Collaboration and organizational skills are a must, along with a passion for diversity in recruitment and the administration of people initiatives across the agency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Compile and utilize data relating to recruiting and human resources, to support performance and retention, and define, track, and report on key hiring metrics for all positions.
  • Support onboarding and hiring of candidates, working closely with our HR and Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless process.
  • Conduct candidate outreach and schedule interviews for talent acquisition and hiring teams.
  • Assist in new employee orientation and educate new employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance and assist with reporting and filing requirements related to I-9 compliance, FMLA, ADA, EEO etc.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions, ensuring descriptions are up-to-date, free of bias, and are accessible to post.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assist in submitting compliance reporting data.
  • Support specialized program initiatives, including sourcing, onboarding and creating agendas.
  • Help build and maintain a sourcing pipeline and candidate pool via LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, research etc.
  • Assist in completing system transactions across the employee life cycle (i.e. hire, change, termination workflows)
  • Update and maintain department documents such as onboarding packets, templates, SOPs, toolkits, and more.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, marketing or equivalent practical experience.
  • A self-starter who is detail-oriented, resourceful, innovative, and who takes initiative.
  • Ability to adapt to change, demonstrate curiosity and pivot with a growing business.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees and candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in an agency, marketing, or digital communications agency.
  • Demonstrable knowledge or interest in HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Experience sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter and maintaining a pipeline for specialized roles.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, act with integrity and use a high level of discretion.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse is preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing multiple projects, with proven and effective project management skills.

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.

Salary range: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00
