The Overview:

Are you an avid music and entertainment fan who has been working within an agency across these platforms? Are you a leader who can provide strong POVs and navigate detailed partnerships, talent deals, and activations?

R&CPMK, the original entertainment and culture agency, is seeking a culturally connected account manager based in either our NY or LA office area to act as a key lead in one of our agency’s largest areas of expertise, music & entertainment. You will be a major team contributor on some of the most high-profile consumer brands in the world with strategic vision and the ability to effectively communicate to high-level decision makers. This role requires knowledge and passion within the consumer space and experience working across successful partnerships and marketing campaigns within the entertainment space, with an emphasis on music.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of helping develop and implement strategies for partnerships and activations, from festivals and tours to film and streaming properties and more. Experience working as part of an integrated marketing team, representing an informed POV that is backed by industry relationships. You are a strong client servicer who enjoys teamwork by seeking input from peers but is a self-starter.

The Fine Print:

  • Serve as part of the account team tasked with generating creative ideation, strategies, and POVs
  • Trend-spotting strength across music and entertainment industries; has experience setting up partnerships and programming from concept/planning to activation
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to effectively articulate ideas to clients
  • Serve as a meaningful mentor to junior-level team members
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and trafficking assets and contracts
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contract partnerships with artist and properties
  • Accountable for your quality control and review of all planning decks, deliverables, and overall project management

The Needs:

  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience; agency experience is highly desired
  • Organized and a strong attention to detail and work streams that are completed promptly
  • Experience in creative ideation, client service, and project management of brands, both large and small
  • Ability to navigate the needs of multiple clients at one time
  • Experience and connections across the music and/or entertainment industries
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; crafting compelling decks is an area of expertise
  • Strong judgment when working with team members, clients, and vendors

Salary: $70,000.00- $80,000.00 annually
