Strategy & Analytics Intern - New York

10 Week Program (06/3/24 - 08/9/24) - Pay: $20/hour

If you have a keen interest in how consumers think and like having the data to back it up, this internship is for you! In some projects, the Strategy/Analytics intern supports the needs of the Strategy team by digging up incredible fact-based insights about a client’s brand, its customers and business challenges. In other projects, the Strategy/Analytics intern works on behalf of the Analytics team to not only analyze data, but also clearly tell the story behind the numbers. A true super sleuth, the Strategy/Analytics intern will be called upon to help find solutions to problems, back up big ideas with smart insights, and put their curiosity to work on behalf of our clients.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop fresh insights after conducting analysis and research to understand client brands, audiences, and business environments.
  • Create custom scorecards and dashboards based on client goals to measure program performance, as well as create and present well-organized presentations and reports.
  • Distill insights from data, synthesizing key findings into a clear, compelling story.
  • Interact and collaborate with multiple internal teams while supporting active Analytics and Strategy projects.
  • Serve as an Analytics SME, willing and able to educate others along the way to foster analytics mindset and data-driven decision making.
  • Immerse yourself in the latest trends and developments in Experiential Marketing and contribute to agency newsletters and think pieces.
  • Commit to 10 weeks of hard work, learning, and fun, day in, day out

  • College Degree or degree in progress.
  • Independent thinking, which you are not afraid to share with the team.
  • Excellent attention to detail in any project you complete.
  • Relentless problem-solving abilities and desire for continued improvement, including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Keen curiosity in understanding consumers and the brands they love.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, with a keen sense to absorb new concepts quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs, with a particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint
