Strategy Intern – New York (Hybrid)

10 Week Program (05/31/23 - 08/11/23) - Pay: $18/hour

If you have a keen interest in how people think and like having the numbers to back it up, this internship is for you! As the Strategy intern, you will support the needs of the Strategy Practice by digging up incredible fact-based insights about a client’s brand and their business challenges. A true super sleuth, you’ll identify target audiences and help discover key insights for client needs. Unrelentingly curious, you will help find solutions to problems and give purpose to the big idea. 

 What you’ll do

  • Support Strategists on existing client work and new business proposals
  • Develop fresh insights after conducting analysis and research to understand client brand, audiences and business environment
  • Identify new sources of information that provide teams with trends, market analysis and relevant points of view that will enhance our ability to meet client needs
  • Participate in developing the creative brief, articulating key insights and a clear point of view
  • Collaborate actively with account team members to ensure effective connections through all agency disciplines relative to client work
  • Commit to 10 weeks (May 31st – August 11th of 2023) of hard work, learning, and fun, day in, day out

 What you’ll bring to Jack

  • College Degree or degree in progress. Great fits: Degrees in Anthropology, Psychology, English, Journalism, Statistics/Analytics, and anyone who is a legit analytical genius
  • Independent thinking, which you are not afraid to share with the team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Keen curiosity in understanding people and what moves them
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to engage with the team and on the work, while participating virtually. At the moment, we have no required ‘live/in person’ part of the Intern Program, though access to our office is available following health and safety protocols.
