Our app connecting businesses with unsold food, and consumers willing to buy at a discounted rate has grown since 2016 to become the biggest in Europe, with over 55 Million users, and more than 130 million meals saved.

Your mission 

We are looking for a waste warrior to perform her/his internship within our Sales Team, located in Barcelona. You will report to the Region Lead and you will have one Sales Specialist assigned as your mentor. You will learn how to build quality connections with our partners (i.e. stores having surplus) and grow our community of food waste warriors by signing up restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries and local food retailers.  

Above all, in this role, you will help your team with lead generation strategies, closing deals, follow up with partners and data support. 

Requirements:

  • You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable when you approach people via email, phone and face-to-face.
  • You need to be proactive, organised, and focused on details.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English. Other languages are a plus!
  • You are located in Barcelona.
  • You are looking for a full-time internship (40 hours per week) next to your studies.You must have graduated from University or other official education. 
  • You have full availability to start the internship in March. 
  • You love the idea of working in a busy scale-up culture and can function in an amazing but high speed work environment.
