The Smartsheet digital team is looking for a social team leader who specializes in the global  B2B space; including experience managing global social presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Someone who can manage and grow  our established social program as well as provide social amplification service to our brand, demand gen, comms, events and field marketing teams. This person will understand social as a business function, messaging, brand, digital engagement and have the ability to think long term, and think big.

This position reports to the VP of Digital Marketing and can be based remotely (in the U.S.) or in our Bellevue, WA HQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy - Collaborate with stakeholder teams across Smartsheet and define the future state of Smartsheet social, across channels, use-cases, and outcomes. Build a roadmap for achieving this vision and socialize with all stakeholders to embrace it
  • Social Media Growth - Take Smartsheet social efforts to the next level, drive growth in reach, engagement, customer evangelism and advocacy that drive revenue from social channels
  • Partner Across Org - Support the goals and needs of stakeholder teams across Smartsheet to ensure audiences receive the messages appropriate to them
  • Signal - Lead social listening and analytics efforts, providing internal teams with deep understanding of social media conversations related to key business initiatives, along with providing recommendations with regard to how to react to these conversations
  • Influencer Program- Research, recommend and build agency and partner relationships that center on driving influencer amplification and growth across social channels
  • Internationalization - Create a path forward creating measurable growth from internationalization, support key market growth, create guidelines for what, when, and why content should be localized
  • Management - Manage and optimize acquisition and engagement campaigns day-to-day across social publishers. Hands-on work is a must-have for this role
  • Leadership - Develop and mentor the social team members with their career advancement
  • Testing -  Partner with an internal analytics team to develop a testing roadmap, conducting experiments and A/B tests on an ongoing basis to continually improve channel performance
  • Internal Advocacy Management- Leverage our existing internal employee social platform to grow and measure our internal social advocacy efforts
  • Executive Social - Partner with our Executive Comms leader to drive the social strategy of key executives across Smartsheet to drive growth, outreach, engagement, and connection with key audiences 
  • Education - Help educate and inform Smartsheet teams about our social programs and importance, mentor and educate on the latest social advancements
  • Support other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years in leading strategy and managing organic and paid social campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of & mastery of social platforms including FB & Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Quora for B2B tech product company
  • Experience standing up and managing Influencer Programs (Internal and External)
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills and a test-and-learn mentality
  • Strong grasp of experimentation techniques within social platforms
  • Understanding of media attribution
  • Experience building out campaign automation across social platforms
  • Skilled at manage and mentor members of a team
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • All Smartsheet employees self-starters who can, with minimal guidance, drive projects from concept through completion
  • Agility to quickly adjust priorities and shift direction

Smartsheet provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $178,200 to $243,000 | All other US States: $165,000 to $225,000
