Manager, Enterprise Sales Representatives, Key Accounts

Seeking a proven, highly motivated Manager, Enterprise Sales Representatives, Key Accounts who will hire, train, coach and develop a team of driven individuals to become world-class business development professionals. This position will report to the Regional VP of Large Enterprise, Key Accounts and will be based in our Bellevue, WA office. 


  • Hire, coach, train and develop a team of Large Enterprise Sales Representatives to master skills including, but not limited to, lead engagement, account-intelligence development, Smartsheet value proposition, outbound prospecting, pipeline generation and sales execution. 
  • Play a leadership role in operationalizing account-based pipeline development plans, including process definition, key metrics and use of tools.
  • Partner with the RVP to provide a vision and operationalize the ESR function within Large Enterprise.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for the efficiency and productivity of the team.
  • Partner with team members in the full deal cycle to drive closure, this may include joining customer calls, working with procurement, and internal teams to remove deal friction.  
  • Define, implement and track a set of core metrics/analytics to analyze team performance and ensure sales consistency and predictability.
  • Review inbound lead volumes, activity metrics, conversions and pipeline build.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the team, including live coaching and mentoring.
  • Partner with Regional Directors and Account Executives to align on territory and account goals.  
  • Providing account-intelligence and perspective on strategy for the accounts.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams for deal closure, process improvement, account planning, and to build strong internal relationships to maximize territory revenue.  
  • Create a performance-based team culture that inspires through a shared vision and motivates with creative incentives.


  • 2+ years of management experience with a proven track record of hiring, retaining and developing individuals and the overall team.
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of achievement.
  • Experience working in and building inside sales teams.
  • Effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce or equivalent CRM,  LinkedIn, Tableau, GoogleApps, Zoominfo, Outreach or equivalent.
  • Data-driven – constantly finding ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and contribution to the business through analysis and metrics.
  • A team player – inspiring others and building highly motivated and successful teams. 
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and requirements, and correlate them to Smartsheet value.
  • Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation.
  • Drive, grit, team-oriented: strong desire to compete and win.
  • Proven track record of goal achievement (as individual or manager) and building and managing KPIs for a sales organization.
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employee without any sponsorship
  • Bachelors (BA/BS) degree required.
