Inside Sales Representative (UK)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative for our growing team in the UK.

The Sales organization at Leaseweb is responsible for the full sales cycle, from business development to account management. From engaging prospects (business development) to seeking new opportunities to increase the services to existing customers (account management). The team is multi-cultural and consists of eager professionals full of drive and ambition. The culture is dynamic and fast paced. This has led to an innovative mindset, continuously seeking improvement. As Leaseweb expands in the UK, we are looking for someone to actively engage with the UK market and help us build our presence.

What is the role about?

Are you a Go-Getter, willing to go the extra mile? Do you have an exceptional telephone manner?

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of proactively generating and qualifying leads for a Business Development team to move the deal forward to closure. Be able to identify and understand the customers’ business needs from the Leaseweb product portfolio. Has the ability to develop and shape these needs and convert these needs into value propositions based on the Leaseweb services and solutions.

This position is characterized by independence, freedom of action, drive and a sense of responsibility, naturally alongside a commercial focus. In this role you will:

  • The primary responsibility of this role will be to generate leads through targeted outreach.
  • Using in house & 3rd party applications such as LinkedIn and Apollo.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager or Business Development Manager for further development and closure.
  • Develop, safeguard, and transfer/share account intelligence, domain, and market knowledge
  • Actively engage with the UK market and help build Leaseweb's presence.

What we’re looking for: 

  • A go-getter who is willing to go the extra mile to pitch and create interest and book in face to face or remote meetings.
  • A track record of developing new areas within the IT UK market, preferably in the cloud, hosting and data centre industry
  • Knowledgeable of cloud infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization, network and server technologies would be beneficial
  • Keen on staying up-to-date on market knowledge and information to drive your own performance
  • Love talking to people on the telephone
  • Have a sales or marketing background
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Legally allowed to work in the UK
  • Able to travel to the Leaseweb HQ in the Netherlands as and when required (once or twice per year)

The position is office based in Paddington, London with a flexible approach after an initial period.
