Engineering Manager
As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams. Our team of approximately 90 engineers is working in small scrum teams. Each team has end to end responsibility for a specific product or part of our architecture. We work on a remote-first basis, coming together in person at our Amsterdam headquarters twice a year.

Responsibilities:
As one of four Engineering Managers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and success of our cloud hosting solutions. You will lead and guide three engineering teams (20-30FTE total) each with its own Agile Team Lead and Product Owner, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. This role reports to the Director of Engineering for Leaseweb Global.
Your responsibilities include:
- Together with the rest of the management team, you will develop and execute strategic plans to align the engineering teams with Leaseweb's technical and business objectives.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between the engineering teams and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with Team Leads and Product Owners to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer deliveries and roadmap items.
- Uphold and drive technical excellence within the teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and Leaseweb's quality benchmarks.
- Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development for Team Leads, Product Owners and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate:
- Strong technical background with expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking and/or related technology
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, preferably in a hosting, cloud services or highly technical environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading multiple engineering teams with their respective Team Leads and Product Owners.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- You embrace agile ways of working
