Business Development Manager  

What is the role about? 

Do you possess in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem within the global hosting and data centers landscape and are eager to grow market share? As a Business Development Manager, you play a pivotal role in expanding Leaseweb's market presence by promoting Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions. Your primary responsibility is to contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic sales plans, ensuring the achievement of predefined sales targets. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Drive market share growth through effective sales of Leaseweb IaaS solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive sales plans. 
  • Ensure achieving predetermined sales targets. 
  • Take ownership of relationship management and business deals with potential and existing clients. 
  • Leverage your local market knowledge and network to enhance business opportunities. 
  • Operate with a strong commercial focus, aligning activities with business objectives. 

What we’re looking for:  

  • Solid direct sales experience in the IT sector.   
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. 
  • Experience in building strategic partnerships with key industry players to enhance Leaseweb's market presence. 
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/CloudStack), network (Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, VPN, load balancing, firewalling), and server (Dell, HP, IBM) technologies. 
  • A demonstrated passion for staying up to date with industry trends and competitive landscapes through continuous market research. 
  • Willingness to travel globally.  
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
